The Northern Winds has a full line of occult and metaphysical supplies including basic herbs, oils, jewelry, books, ritual tools, clothing, knives and swords, music, childrens items, runes, bottles, books of shadows and many other Norse, Pagan and Wiccan items! We can special order books and other items as well. Call for details on receiving store credit for your pre-owned wiccan, pagan, heathen and metaphysical books. Check out our clergy services link if you are in need of a handfasting, marriage, rite of passage or other service. We hope to see you soon!





Classes, circles and meet-ups at the store:

You are welcome to call ahead to reserve your space,or to call the day of the class to see if any seats are open. All classes are cash only, no debit or credit. Come early as the parking lots fills up fast. All classes start promptly at 6pm, unless noted, no entry once class has started.

For classes marked 'sign up early', please call or come in to reserve your space with a couple days notice. Classes are cash only, no credit or debit cards. Call or check our website the day of the event to check on changes or cancellations. Please arrive 10 minutes early.


Asatru meet-up
July 30 (Fri 6-8pm) Our study subject is the Norse God Freyr and first harvest celebrations, $5

Incense making class
August 7 (Sat 6-7pm) (bring your mortar and pestle) we will provide high quality ingredients for making your own incense to burn on charcoal blocks! $5

Spiral Dance study group
August 11 (Wed 6-7pm) We will be meeting a couple times a month, discussing chapter one for this meet-up. The Spiral Dance is an influential book that launched the rebirth of the American Goddess movement, and includes rituals, invocations, exercises and magic. (By donation)

Magick Meet-up
August 13 (Fri 6-7:30) $5 suggested donation. Drinks will be provided. Join us for a meet-up of folks from different spiritual paths to explore and exchange wisdom and ideas. This month our objective is to research a Pagan path that you know nothing about to share with the group. $5

Rune workshop
August 20 (Fri 6-9pm) Grimmel, Gothi (High Priest) of The Norse Wolfpack will lead an exploration of the oldest rune system, the Elder Futhark. We will discuss the modern and historical magick and divination properties of the runes and how you can use them for spells, meditation, healing and readings.
Rune booklets will be available for an additional $5 if you would like one. $15

Beowulf for modern Pagans and Heathens
August 21 (Sat 6-8pm) This class is a "don't miss'! Our instructor is Patrick, experienced teacher and local Heathen. He will show us the historical and modern significance of the epic poem Beowulf and how it applies to modern Pagans and Heathens. $5 suggested donation.

Full Moon Meditation (finding your animal guides)
August 24 (Tues 6-7pm) Join us as we use the energy of the Full Moon for a deep meditation and discussion. $5

August 27 (Fri 6-8pm) Details will be posted after the July meet-up. We usually have a discussion topic followed by a Sumbel (an ancient form of ritual toasting)

Chakra healing for beginners
August 28 (Sat 6-8pm) with Dr. Brandy L. Howe, learn how to balance and heal your Chakra system with vibrational therapies. The use of crystals, color, tuning forks and other modalities will be discussed. $25

Event Details: The 2010 Arizona Witch's Masquerde Ball is being hosted by Fenix Fire Festivals and sponsored by Valley of the Sun Pagan Projects.

This year's ball will be the most magickal evening of 2010 and should not be missed, it will consist of a a lot of "fun, frolic & frivolity"!

Things that can be looked foward to: food, unlimited soda and tea, cash bar, costume contests, live entertainment, vendors from all over Arizona midnight ritual lead by Druid Linda of EarthLove and amazing raffle gifts!
