Mike Erwin is the owner of The Northern Winds and is Gothi and founding member of The Norse Wolfpack, a Phoenix based Pagan group that holds open rituals and charity events. Mike has studied the occult in its many forms since 1989 and currently follows a Norse path. As an ordained Minister,he can perform handfastings, wedding ceremonies, rites of passage and house blessings in many traditions. Mike has been teaching for three years now and past classes have included: Crystals, gemstone elixirs, herbal studies (tinctures, magickal, medicinal and more) spirit guides and totem animals, mirror magic, crystal gridding, prosperity magic, protection magic, magical brews, incense, candle magic, magical oils, Asatru tools, bath salts, smudge basics, finding your elemental personality and many others. His most popular classes involve rune studies, including an elder futhark workshop, runic talismans and sigils, and runic rites.
Brandy L. Howe, DD, Traditional Naturopath, Life Science Practitioner, has over
30 years experience in the study of Alternative/Integrative healing. In March, 1996, she received her Doctor of Naturopathy degree with High Honors through the Clayton School of Natural Healing. In February, 2002, she attained Doctor of Divinity and is an Ordained Minister. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Animal Intuitive Lightworker, Electromagnetic Stress Reduction Practitioner, Certified Organic Skin Care Consultant and a Licensed Facilitator for Joyful Child, Inc.
Dr. Howe's studies include herbology, pharmacology, nutrition, aromatherapy, iridology, homeopathy, polarity therapy, acupressure, kinesiology, reflexology, psychic healing, vibrational therapies and remedies, animal communication, spiritual/intuitive guidance and bereavement assistance.
Simia is the psychic for Fantasia every Thursday and specializes in Tarot, Toe readings and is a trained spiritual intuitive. Her Chakra class was excellent and recieved many compliments from students.
Katie Starr is an internationally known Psychic seen on television and heard on radio. She has been giving psychic readings for more than 50 years. She has taught many classes, including Psychometry at a local community college. She is currently a popular reader for Fantasia.
Rose-Ellen is a state certified clairvoyant and spiritual healer and has been reading and healing for over 20 years. Rose-Ellen specializes in Tarot, past life readings, dream interpretation, angel communication, chakra balancing and aura cleansing. She is currently offering readings at Fantasia.
Celeste: I am a Nationally Certified massage therapist, and a Reiki Master. My background in metaphysical studies and the magickal arts goes back 25 years. I have based my life on the principles that I have learned and have experienced the truth of these wisdom practices. My real love is in working with human energy and the human body. I enjoy caring for people and helping them to find wellness practices that are practical and usable, while remaining organic and within the scope of the ancient spiritual traditions. I am also able to perform legal marriage ceremonies. I prefer, but am not limited to the pagan marriage rites, such as handfasting.
Nora Ford, Seidhr Kona. For me my spiritual journey began to unfold on my 18th birthday when I was given a set of tarot cards. Something inside me was unlocked. In the beginning, I have to admit this open doorway seemed daunting. I knew I was standing at the edge of great change and deep wisdom. I set my feet on the path, but found myself occasionally distracted by boyfriends and college. When I turned 20 I wandered into a crystal shop. The owners were amazing ladies. One of them said, I think I have something that is meant for you. She laid a set of crystal runes in my hands and I felt an instant connection. I have been reading and studying runes since.
Through the years, my study and use of the runes has changed and evolved. As I opened to the runes, I became more aware of voices speaking to me, voices of guides and other spiritual beings. When I would read runes, the symbol set became less and less necessary. I found myself going into deeper and deeper states of trance during my reading sessions. When I described my practices to another seer she said “oh you’re a seidhr worker”.
For me, the runes sing and speak wisdom of the ages. My resonance with runes led to many changes in my life, including my study of the Gods of the Northern Tradition and their magical practices. Without runes, I might never have been able to define my oracular work. My seidhr practice comes from a very deep and whole place inside of me. When I began this work it was as if I had recovered a lost soul part. I am grateful for the mentors, disir, ancestors, Odin and Freya for helping me find seidhr.
Felecia Jensen: Felecia has been a solitary practitioner of the Wiccan path since January 2000. She worked part time at the former metaphysical store Incantations, where she began teaching basic witchcraft from 2006 to 2008. She also took the unofficial role of High Priestess of The Circle of the Silver Dragon during this same time. She has privately taught Wicca basics for "newbie's" to the path ever since. Felecia truly enjoys creating Pagan crafts and home decorations, and loves to share her knowledge and celebration of the Sabbats. She now works part time at Northern Winds, and has held classes on Kitchen Witchery and Sabbats crafting. Her motto's..."Simple is powerful, as long as it is from the heart" and "Focus, focus, focus".
